为提高学生学习英语的兴趣，营造英语学习氛围，2014年6月16日，吉林省第二实验高新学校中学部举行了“我们爱英语”主题升旗仪式。承担本周升旗仪式的是八（2）年级部分同学，年级组长马春娟老师。

八年16班吴佳泽同学主持本次升旗仪式，本次升旗采用中英双语进行主持。八年11班于少坤同学担任升旗手，八年12班徐浩展同学和八年15班陈星宇同学担任护旗手。国旗仪仗队由八（2）年级部分热爱英语、成绩优异的同学组成。遇建勋副校长为升旗手佩戴绶带并授旗。

八年17班杨小h同学和八(2)年级英语备课组长于凤艳老师讲话。杨小h同学代表热爱英语的同学表达了他们对英语的热爱，她们认为英语锻炼和提升意志品格的同时能让自己享受多彩的生活，开启通往世界的大门。于老师倡议大家读英语书刊、唱英文歌曲、看英文电影、加入英语社团，交外国笔友、和外国人交谈，让我们的生活更加丰富多彩！

Good morning, everyone.

First I’d like to say “thank you” for being given such a good chance. My speech topic is “We love English”.

   When I was a little kid, I was taught to say the first English sentence “Bye-bye”. I didn’t understand the meaning of the sentence, but I knew I should say it when I left. Then I learned to sing “ABC” and began to watch some English cartoons. English stepped into my world in such a wonderful way, and I enjoyed using English in my daily life.

   Time goes by. I grow up into a student. English becomes a subject at school. I meet many good teachers and they are really friendly to me. They give lively classes, tell funny stories and play interesting games. They lead me into a different but amazing world. I have fun learning English.

   I love English. It brings me a colorful life. I like watching English movies and my favorite movie is Kung Fu Panda. I learn to challenge myself in the face of difficulties from the movie. I like reading English books and magazines. In this way I learn a lot about American life and culture. I also sing English songs and join English clubs. English fills my life with pleasure.

   I love English. It opens up a wonderful world for me. Since I was a middle school student, I have tried to make pen pals with foreign students. As long as I have a chance to talk to foreigners, I try my best. I work hard at English Culture so that I can be an excellent girl with world views. And of course, in the future I will have the chance to go abroad studying or traveling. That must be very exciting.

   I know, Rome was not built in a day. I believe as long as I put my heart into learning English, I can be as good as my teacher. I’m sure my dream will come true one day.

   Good morning, everyone!

It is my great honor to be here to share my speech with all of you.Toady,my topic is “We love English”

   When I was a middle student, I fell in love with English for the first time I heard a sentence”Good morning” It was so amazing ,special,attractive to me at that time that I couldn’t help learning English from my teacher.Because of my love and interest for English, I became an English teacher.

    Have you realized the importance of learning English ? It is not only an important subject but also a bridge of communication. We can learn foreign cultures and it can also make our life very colorful . As a teacher , it is my duty to make students love English and offer them some ways to learn English well.Now, let me give you some advice on how to improve your English.

    Firstly,Love me,love my dog.There must be a hard---working and responsible English teacher around you . If you like him or her, you will have a good beginning of learning English.Follow your teachers and I believe you will be better and better.

    Secondly,All roads lead to Rome.You can choose to use different methods to learn English well,such as listening carefully in class,looking through notes at home,reciting articles in the morning and watching English movies and so on.

    Thirdly, Practice makes perfect. If you try your best and put your heart into learning English,nothing is impossible.As for a word ,you can recite many times, as for a phrase,you can make up many sentences,as for a sentence, you can use it in different compositions.

    Fourthly, Where there is a will ,there is a way.No matter how you are getting along with your English now, it doesn’t influence your English study.If you are not good at English now, you can have a new start .If you are an excellent English learner now, you can have a higher goal and go for it.

    As everyone knows, the most famous speech in English is “I have a dream” which is from Martin Luther King ,the world famous speaker.

    Today, I have a dream.

I have a dream. One day all the students in our school can love English passionately.

I have a dream. One day all the students in our school can speak English confidently.

I have a dream. One day all the students in our school can use English very freely.

If you study English hard, my dreams will come true! Fighting!
